BOOKING
Once you have identified the dates you require, please telephone or e mail us to check availability. On our acceptance of a provisional reservation, you will be asked to print our booking form off this web site, and to confirm your booking, the completed form must be received by the owners, together with a deposit cheque, within 7 days.  On receipt of the form and cheque, a confirmation e mail will be sent to you.

PAYMENT
A deposit of 25% of the total cost is payable on booking.  The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the booked date of arrival at Michouat.  Please make all cheques payable to:   MK & PI Harrison.

DAMAGE / SECURITY DEPOSIT
A refundable damage / security deposit of £150 (€225)is required at the time of payment of the balance.  This will be banked and held as security.  The gîte will be clean on your arrival and should be that way on your departure.  Should this not be the case, cleaning costs will be deducted from your deposit, as will the cost of any damage or breakages.  However, the sum of £150 (€225) does not limit your liability to the owners.

CANCELLATION
If you are forced to cancel your booking you are required to do so in writing as soon as possible.  Every effort will be made to re-let the gîte.  However, if this is not possible, or if it is only by agreeing a lower rent, you will be liable for the balance. In the event of a cancellation, you are advised to notify your holiday insurance company, with a view to recover any costs incurred.

INSURANCE   
You are strongly advised to take out comprehensive holiday insurance at the time of booking.  All members of the party should have insurance cover for personal belongings and public liability, as these are not covered by the owners insurance.  The owners do not accept liability for any losses that may be incurred for which insurance is available.  If relevant, insurance to cover any costs of breakdown or accident to your car is also advised.
Proof of relevant cover is required when you confirm your booking.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
The number of people staying at the gîte must not exceed the number stated on the booking form, unless agreed with the owner.  Parking a caravan or pitching a tent in the grounds is not permitted.  Failure to observe these conditions could result in your party being asked to leave the premises.

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE
The property rental starts at 4pm on the day of arrival and ends at 10am on the day of departure. If you know that you will be arriving later than 6pm we would be pleased if you would let the owners know.

OTHER INFORMATION

The rental price includes water and electricity during high season.  Rentals at other times of the year may be charged extra to cover electricity and heating.  The telephone line may be activated on a temporary agreement, charged to the client.

Bedding is included in the rental price.  There is a charge of £5 per week per person for a linen pack which includes sheets, pillowcases and towels (not swimming towels).

A basic pack of tea, coffee, milk etc will be at the gîte on your arrival. 

Whilst every care is taken to ensure all information given is accurate, there may be instances where facilities or features have to be altered or withdrawn.
